Barb Syler

Barboo has been a member and officer of Calumet Clowns for over 15 years and is well known throughout the South East Side area of Chicago and Northwest Indiana region for her participation in parades and countless charity event shows.  She specializes in creative balloon sculptures and always has a pocket full of tricks for her audience, aged 1-100.

JELLY BEAN

Janet Tucker

Jelly Bean has been a clown for 30 years in the Calumet Region and as well as throughout the United States and internationally in England, Scotland, Canada, Philippines, and Japan, where she taught caring clown classes and entertained at the International Exposition in 2005.  She has taught clown arts to hundreds of people through classes at Purdue University Calumet and Indiana University Northwest as well as lecturing for many clown organizations.  She is Past President of Calumet Clowns, Michiana Clowns, and the World Clown Association.  Jelly Bean has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Midwest Clown Association; the Clown of the Year Award from the World Clown Association; the Impact Clown Ministry Award for her achievements in clown ministry, and has been an Artist in Residence for Clowns of America, International.
